According to the report led by Manuel I. López-Martínez, there are several studies that have evaluated the effect of supplementation with a mixture of vegetable and dairy proteins in athletes.  

One of them is based on the hypothesis that this “soy-dairy” could offer improvements when it comes to gaining more strength, synthesizing proteins and reducing body fat mass (the ergogenic effect we talked about above). The equation is simple: milk protein provides benefits in protein synthesis and this is enhanced by the antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity of soy and other vegetable proteins.  

According to the results obtained, everything would indicate that the mixtures of vegetables and dairy products achieve better ergogenic effects.
